John Adams, Mark DeLorenzo and Jack Burwick Named to New Senior Roles at OSRAM

OSRAM SYLVANIA has announced that John Adams has been appointed the OSRAM display/optic global business manager for solid state lighting/ LED (SSL/LED)-based entertainment products, Mark DeLorenzo has been named the display/optic NAFTA entertainment business manager, and Jack Burwick has been named the display/optic SSL/LED NAFTA product marketing manager, effective immediately.

"Mark DeLorenzo and Jack Burwick are exceptional managers whose continual excellence has helped drive innovation for Osram and we're thrilled to provide them with opportunities to continue to do so. We're also pleased to bring John Adams into our company; he has a strong command of the entertainment industry and will be an outstanding addition to our management team."

Adams joins the company with over 30 years of global market entertainment lighting experience. In his new role as global business manager for SSL/LED-based entertainment products, he will be responsible for developing and implementing the global strategy and road map for SSL/LED entertainment products and technologies. He will be in charge of overseeing the introduction of SSL/LED technologies and products to the Osram display/optic global customer base.

Before enlisting with Osram, Adams held several prominent industry leadership positions. He was previously the director of product development -- luminaires for Vari-Lite, CEO/COO of IAG America INC./IAG China, and director of international sales and operations for High End Systems; he even started his own company, Lightfactor sales. Adams has experience and expertise across fields of concentration, from engineering to sales.

Starting with Osram Sylvania in 2006 as the display/optic NAFTA entertainment product manager, DeLorenzo will be reporting to Beschle. In his new position, his responsibilities include directing and leading the NAFTA entertainment business to achieve targeted sales, marketing, product, customer objectives, and overall business growth plans. Additionally, he will be working with original equipment manufacturer customers to develop new opportunities for traditional and SSL/LED product and be based in Exeter, new Hampshire.

For the past 30 years, Burwick has helped expand the Osram Sylvania lighting capabilities through numerous engineering and managerial contributions. As the new display/optic SSL/LED NAFTA business manager, Burwick will oversee all display/optic SSL products and activities in NAFTA. He will be responsible for the growth of the division's SSL/LED product lines, custom products and capabilities. Burwick will report to Mark Beschle and be based in Exeter, New Hampshire.
