Bandit and Clients Nominated for Parnelli Awards

Garth Brooks World Tour

Bandit Lites is rounding out its incredible year with another nomination for Lighting Company of the Year from PLSN and FOH Magazine's annual Parnelli Awards.

Since 2001, the Parnelli Awards recognize the event industry's top visionaries, technology, and innovators, on both an individual and company scale. The event, now in its 15th year, takes place in Las Vegas on October 24 at the Rio Resort and Casino during LDI. The event will be hosted by Kevin Lyman, founder of Vans Warped Tour. Bandit Lites has been nominated every year since the inception of the Parnelli's and has won four times.

In addition to Bandit's Lighting Company of the Year nomination, multiple Bandit clients are nominated in various categories. Lighting designer David 'Gig' Butzler is nominated for Lighting Designer of the Year for his work on Garth Brooks World Tour. Additionally, Barry Manilow's One Last Time tour received multiple nominations including Lighting Designer of the Year for Seth Jackson and Board Operator of the Year for Nathan Alves. Miranda Lambert's lighting designer Chris Lisle is also nominated for Set/Scenic Designer of the Year.

Bandit chair Michael T. Strickland stated, "Bandit is very humbled by the nomination. Each day our talented staff goes to work to deliver the visions of the wonderful designers we work with. It is a blessing to be able to work in this industry. Being nominated as one of the best is the cherry on the top! Thank you to PLSN and the readers for this recognition."
