RCF Introduces Two New Speaker Systems in the Media Series Range: M1001 AND M1201

According to the RCF Media Series philosophy, these 10" and 12" two-way boxes with 1" exit compression driver contribute in the completion of the installed sound catalog by offering a mid-power alternative to the Acustica C range. The Media Series design is equipped with multiple inserts to allow various installation options.

The Media Series products are "medium power" designs based on Compact Series designs. According to the company, Media Series models offer a consistent RCF sound quality; the usual controlled bass response joins vocal clarity and high frequency definition.

The Media Series design and look is consistent with the higher power Compact and H Series models. The new Media Series offers various installation options, from a swivel bracket to wall mounting U brackets, and are said to be easy to install. The steel front grilles are protected with robust double mesh polyester fabric. The front RCF logo is easily rotatable. All models present "quick lock" audio input and link output connectors.

The Media Series features include:

* High power handling "low impedance compensated crossover," with electronic protection for the driver

* Installation points available on the rear panel, top, and bottom

Optional accessories available to install M1001 and M1201 are:
* AC WM-C swivel bracket (for both M1001 and M1201)
* AC M1001 H-BR (for the M1001 model)
* AC M1201 H-BR (for the M1201 model)
* Both models have a four-pin EUROBLOCK connector (audio input and parallel link output)

M1001 (p/n13041015) and M1201 (p/n 13041017) are multipurpose two-way full-range speaker systems, suitable in a wide range of installations. The compactness, together with their elegant and neutral design with accurate finishing make M1001 and M1201 suitable for almost any environment and architectural constraint, according to the company. Available mounting accessories allow the user to use both M1001 and M1201 wall or ceiling mounted, with reference to the several possible applications. The speakers have a controlled dispersion system and deliver undistorted SPL value for such a compact design. Their high sensitivity is due to oversized magnets and their comfortable sound quality with smooth and wide frequency response is a result of the Kapton diaphragm compression driver loaded on a constant directivity horn. The company says the LICC crossover design includes an electronic dynamic protection on high frequency devices to guarantee the highest reliability even in the most critical applications.
