Sound Associates has been a leader in the field of assistive listening systems since 1979, when the first infrared system was installed in a Broadway theatre. It was so well received that a system has since been installed in every Broadway theatre, as well thousands of other theatres, movie houses, public meeting rooms and houses of worship. An Infrared Listening System transmits an audio signal via infrared light, which is invisible to the naked eye, to wireless receivers. The Infrared Listening System is not only useful as an assistive listening tool, but for language translation and audio description as well. Recent Projects:
