Live theatre has a long history at Penn State. In three fully-equipped theatres and multiple laboratories, students work to achieve excellence in scenic, costume, lighting and sound design, technical production, and stage management. We offer exciting and competitive B.F.A. programs in Design & Technology. Our goal is to educate and train talented students to compete successfully in the professional theatre and virtually every aspect of the entertainment industry. Through the successes of our alumni and the reputation of our faculty, the School of Theatre's excellence is recognized throughout the country and, increasingly, around the world. Recent Projects:
