Profile:
The Department offers MFA degrees emphasizing professional training in Acting and Design, dedicated to scholarly and artistic achievement which is made possible by an excellent faculty of diverse skills and interests, the exceptional opportunities for research provided by the University's libraries, the Lawrence and Lee Theatre Research Institute, and the department's active production schedule. The OSU Theatre Company is composed exclusively of MFA students, faculty, guest artists, and selected undergraduates and thus provides an advanced level of experience for the graduate students concentrating on professional skill development and ensemble techniques.
