U/RTA serves as the link between professional training and performing arts and entertainment world. The annual U/RTA National Unified Auditions/Interviews (NUA/Is) help candidates seeking placement in many of the nation's leading professional graduate (MFA) training programs in all fields of theatre. The U/RTA Contract Management Program (CMP) is the largest, not-for-profit contract service of its kind in the country, making it possible for organizations to employ professional theatre artists. Recent Projects: The URTA National Showcase Calendar, launched in January 2010, provides a central location for schools to list their showcases (BFA and MFA) conducted in New York City, Chicago and/or LA.
