Inventor of the Blacktail Hoist, a self-contained hoisting machine using wire rope, incorporating a recently patented design for lifting objects using the principle of zero fleet angle winch design. The drum is oriented parallel to the load path, allowing the load to remain in the same relative position during travel. The Blacktail Hoist has attenuated E Stopping that reduces the impact of a Category O, E-Stop, alleviating excessive break forces to the support structure, the hoist, and the object being lifted.

Lifts up to 1,000 lbs., measures 9" x 15" x 18", weighs approximately 100 lbs.
